Work Done In Class
Today in humanities, our class worked on a worksheet given to us by Ms. Lees. This worksheet requires use of an atlas, a definition list, and a map of South Amearica. Our work is basically to write down answers and follow the instructions to write and colour on the map. This was not a hard task, but many people did not complete the worksheet.
Learning Intention
The learning intention of today's assignment was to understand the meanings of land forms, such as Plateaus, names of mountain ranges, and others. For one Question, We also had to know where to colour in the right places and in the right colour on the South America Map, like blue coastlines.
Use Outside Of Humanities
This ability to know which landforms are called which is very useful to tour guides giving tours around a country. if these tour guides do not know the names of landforms, then they would be out of a job. Parents can also use this skill when travelling around a country and explaining to their child/children what a landform is called or the name of it.
